My responsibilities included the improvement of the Infrastructure and services environment. I defined the business requirements for new SAP/r3 ERP business system, I produced a concept specification and an outline requirement specification for a new business system. I ensured that the Senior Management Team had sufficient exposure to all long listed systems to enable a short list based on business requirements, I organised workshops, conference room pilots and site visits with short-listed systems for directors and managers and staff as an important way of gaining support and engagement. The implementation replaced a legacy application that had no support and could not be expanded or extended to provide important business information that was restricting business expansion.
